Matthew Callaby, known as MrCallaby, is a British artist, currently based in Bristol. He uses acrylic paint to create cute, chubby characters in a strange, bright world. 

His works often feature anthropomorphic characters painted in his unique, illustrative style. Although he oscillates between the adorable and the disturbing, Callaby's main aim is to create a sense of fun in his work.
